Description:

Introduce children to the concept of multiplication with First Times Tables. The elements of the game can be used by parents and teachers to help children understand the basics of multiplication and to help them grow in confidence. Once children have a basic understanding they can put their new skills to the test and play the fun pancake game as they race to get the most pancakes on their board!

One of the key concepts of multiplication is sequencing – the helpful number lines for each of the 2, 5 and 10 times tables provide a visual representation of this concept.

Children get to use the spatula to flip the pancakes to check their answers.

Each of the 2, 5 and 10 times tables is represented by a different pancake topping. Players spin the spinner to determine which multiplication problem they will be solving
